Yay! I read the first volume of the manga so I'm going to be looking into the anime series shortly. Haruhi is such a unique character XD

Okay everyone I don't know if you have been following the anime releases or not but the second season of haruhi has been terrible so far and Im going to rant a bit about it so if you don't want to be spoiled then dont read below this paragraph since this forum doesnt seem to have spoiler tags.
To all of the fellow haruhists in the club you will be utterly dissapointed in the presentation that Kadokawa has been releasing the episodes. It started off fine with Bamboo Leaf Raphsody as the first new episode in three years in which I was more than excited. It aired mixed in with the first season because they are airing the episodes chronologically. That was awesome until they got to Endless Eight. To those who have not read the books, Endless Eight was a small sub arc in the book where Kyon and the group have realized that they have been stuck in a time loop and have repeated the same two weeks of summer 15498 times. the story itself was about 50 pages in length.
Now here is where the bull begins. The first episode of endless eight was the first iteration that they experienced summer. Fine Ill take that. The second episode was the 15489th time they've looped, following the light novel. Except here is where the kick in the pants is. Basically take episode two of this arc and repeat it FOUR MORE TIMES. That is right, so far this arc has been SIX episodes long of almost the exact same thing!
I say almost the exact same because every episode the characters have different clothes, new angles to see things at, shows other activities the characters have done which were glanced over in previous episodes. Also there is no recycled animation. But come on, six episodes of the same thing and they still didn't end it. That is bull. I dont know if this is a trick kadokawa has planned to make you feel like the characters feel, repeating the same thing over and over again but this isnt something you do in an anime. Its something a movie or a two part episode would take care of, not half of the f-ing second season. I don't know if Kadokawa is counting these episodes as the second season but if they are then they have wasted half a season.
Think of it like this you buy a dvd which contains the usual four or five episodes on it but every episode on it was the same. I would feel ripped off. Technically I can't b*tch about this because I haven't purchased anything of the second season, but I know it will eventually come here and I will buy the second season.
Kadokawa is usually awesome in the releases of their anime. But what they've done to technically one of their biggest fan base anime was a completely terrible decision on their part.
Now its time for me to go back to my seventh week of waiting for a resolution of this pointlessly detailed arc.

yea Kadokawa seems to know how to troll IRL-style quite effectively. It'd be funny if I didn't like Haruhi just as much as everyone else

Well It finally ended, I watched a raw of the 19th (8th for the arc) episode and It ended Endless Eight. My thoughts on it...Why the h*ll didn't they do that sooner! the end wasn't all that special, it ended like it did in the book. So why go through all of this? Yes, it ended. Hooray...i guess, but it is still four episodes of wasted content.
